Review of the day's events.

Evening:

1.) Read a short passage from “Christianity as Mystical Fact” and memorize it so that you can reconstruct it from memory in the morning.

2.) Pictorial and retrograde mental image of some of the day's experiences.

3.) Imagine the image of the setting sun in white light, as if the power of the CHR were radiating from this light, with the words:

> In the pure rays of light
> The Godhead of the world shines forth

Then, in the imagination, let the image of the sun turn yellowish-red, as if the love of the CHR were shining forth in the redness, with the words:

> In pure love for all beings
> The Godhead of the soul shines forth

Then, in your mind's eye, transform the image of the sun into green and let four red roses appear below it.

with the words

> I rest in the Godhead of the world

then three upper red roses

with the words:

> I will find myself;

then a black cross on a green background with the words:

> In the Godhead of the world.

Then fall asleep in the mood created by these formulas.

In the morning:

1.) Recall what was read from “Christianity as Mystical Fact” in the evening.

2.) Mental image of a white cross:

with the words:

> In the Godhead of the world

Above the crossbar, add three red roses with the words:

> I will find myself

then add four red roses under the crossbar with the words:

> In HER I rest;

then add a green background with the words:

> The Godhead of the soul shines forth
> in pure love for all beings

then add an outer purple frame tapering off into infinity with the words:

> The Godhead of the world shines forth
> in the pure rays of light.

(The words “Godhead” and “divine nature” refer to the inner and outer CHR force).

Then remain expectant with a calm soul, free from external impressions and memories. At the appropriate time, the revelations that the soul is to receive will come.

Acquire the six qualities.

Every evening:

1.) Read a short passage from “Christianity as Mystical Fact.” Memorize it well enough so that you can recall it accurately from memory in the morning.

2.) Pictorial and retrospective mental images of some of the day's experiences.

3.) Vivid mental image of the 🕈 black cross with seven red roses, accompanied by the feeling:

> “Everything that hinders the ascent to the spiritual dies in the right striving, just as the light in the black cross is extinguished; the spiritual blossoms in the soul like the seven roses blossoming from the black cross.”

Then, in the glow of the roses, feel the power of CHR and fill your soul completely with the words (up to 10 minutes):

> In the pure rays of light
> In the pure warmth of the rays, shining brightly,
> the Godhead of the world shines forth.

(Fall asleep with a calm soul and the mood that comes from this exercise.)

In the morning:

1.) Clearly recall what you read in “Christianity as Mystical Fact.”

2.) Bring the 🕈 clearly before your soul again with the same feelings as in the evening (the cross white instead of black, the roses red).

Then (for up to 10 minutes) let the words live in your soul:

> The Godhead of the world shines and glows
> In the pure warmth of the rays
> In the pure rays of light

Then again (for up to 10 minutes) develop the feeling

> I unite myself with the rays, with the light.

(Remain in a calm state of mind for a longer period of time. After a suitable amount of time, what is meant to be revealed to you will reveal itself in this state of mind.)

Acquiring the six qualities.

In the evening: In the morning:

1.) Review as required in “How to Attain Knowledge of Higher Worlds.” About 5 minutes.

2.) Rosicrucian meditation, which lasts about 5 minutes and is followed by another 5 minutes: In the evening:

> In the pure rays of light
> I can see
> All wisdom's pure power
> In the beating of my heart
> I can feel
> All existence's powerful symbol
> I want to feel both.
> (Then peace of mind)

In the morning:

First, Rosicrucian meditation.
Then, contemplation of the following thoughts:

> Wisdom in the mind
> Love in the soul
> Strength in the will
> They guide me
> And hold me
> I trust them
> I sacrifice myself to them.
> (Then peace of mind)
